English, early 19th Century. Sarcophagus shape with rosewood veneer inlaid with mother of pearl. Domed panel on lid and turned handles on sides. Two lidded compartments. 7 1/2"w. 6 1/4"h. Sold with an inlaid jewelry box. Fruitwood veneer with herring bone and banded inlay. 9"l. 4"h.
