PORTRAIT OF A BOY ATTRIBUTED TO THOMAS SULLY (PENNSYLVANIA, 1783-1872).
Oil on canvas, unsigned. A fine half-length portrait of a young lad holding a book. An old partial label on verso includes "Olyphant", which is a borough
in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, in the northeast part of the state. 24"h. 19 1/4"w., in a period gilt frame, 34 1/4"h. 30 1/4"w.

Condition: Old patch in upper right corner, old surface on the frame. Bears a stenciled label from a Philadelphia art supplier. Not yet blacklit.
