Ornithologia methodice digesta atque iconibus aeneis ad vivum illuminatis ornate (Natural History of the Birds Treated Systematically and Adorned with Copperplate Engraving Illustrations, in Miniature and Life-Size), Florence: Guiseppe Vanni, 1767-76; engraved by Lorenzo Lorenzi and Violante Vanni. Includes plates 135, 259, 416, and 442, all in later red frames. 13 5/8"h. 10 3/4"w. (plate), 17 3/4"h. 14 1/2"w. (frame).

Condition: All with light toning and scattered foxing. Margins of at least 1" on all. Not removed from frames.
