Dale Nichols (Nebraska/Illinois, 1904-1995) is principally known for his regionalist Midwestern farm paintings. However, he spent time in Guatemala in the 1960s and he utilized local subjects in experimental works. Purchased directly from Nichols in Guatemala in 1969.
