EGYPTIAN MUMMIFIED BIRD.
Ca.1500 BC. Bird wrapped in layers of linen. Minor wear and loss. 8 1/2"l.

Condition: X-rays purportedly taken of bird in 1990's: lot includes certificate of authenticity from Barclay's Gallery, Ann Arbor Michigan. We are having this x-rayed the morning of 7/23 and will make results available. The x-ray taken on July 23, 2008 confirms that it is a bird.
