ABT: Lionel #1060 & #1060T Engine and Tender

Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: These are the #1060 Scout-type Steam Engine and 1060T small streamlined Tender that Lionel made circa 1960. Variation with an elongated headlight. Even though a low-end, forward only, uncataloged set component, it is somewhat difficult to find a truly collectible example (the horn and rain-shield over the headlight are usually broken). Reuse of the 1948 #1001 tooling with a Plastic boiler and white heat-stamped lettering. Our Opinion is that they are generally in Like New Condition, very minor signs of use. No Boxes.
