Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #6017 SP-type caboose that Lionel made circa 1956 only. This scarce model is unpainted, has "6017" underscored, and was the last use of the full-data "Lionel" heat-stamp tooling before all 6017 cabooses were renamed "Lionel Lines". Our Opinion is that it is generally in Excellent Plus Condition. The Original 55- Middle Classic box is in (8) Condition. All Original in our Opinion.
