Relief Molded & Sculptured Oriental Vase

Relief Molded & Sculptured Oriental Vase: on each side is a panel with a red robed woman in violent water on one, the other is a man by a tree, on both sides are charcoal colored areas with pin pricked porous surface. The handles are formed as foo dogs with extended tongues. The sides have exotic birds in bright colors. Hand painted characters mark the bottom. Circa mid to late 19th century, from the looks of it.

(The red robe has a small chip, also one leaf on the other side. The gold trim is worn.)
