Dated 1796 Sampler by Anne Johnson: there is a floral border, the alphabet, trees and birds on a basket. Wording near the bottom is- Anne Johnson finished this sampler in the year 1796- aged 7 years. Framed in birdseye maple.

(The colors have faded over a 214 year period and some staining on the edges.)
