1958, "The Times Atlas of the World"

1958, "The Times Atlas of the World, Mid Century Edition" by John Bartholomew & Sons Ltd. (Volume 1, 160 pp., hard cover) This oversized large-format book was accessed from the Technical Library of the Johnson Space Center. Published in 1958, it is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II. Filled with beautiful color plates, it was available as a reference volume in the library to mission planners and astronauts during the Gemini program and beyond. The page edges are stamped with "NASA MSC Technical Library." Good condition with a tear on a front and back blank page and 3 library identification marks cut from the page bearing the dedication.
