Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse in Color: The Art of Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks, Gold Plate Limited Edition #96/100 (Another Rainbow, 1988). Here's a handsome volume sure to delight the fans of "the world's most famous mouse." This magnificent, 17" x 13", 248 page hardcover book was signed by both Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks. Gottfredson was the Mickey Mouse artist of record, and Carl Barks specialized in Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge comic book stories, but "the Good Duck Artist" had also worked on early "Mickey Mouse" animated cartoons, and one of his original graphite and color pencil "in-between drawings" (which is signed by Barks, and measures an overall 7" x 6") was included with this copy of the Gold Plate Edition. This book also has a mylar dust jacket, and the pieces are in Excellent condition. From the Don Vernon Collection.
