Pappy Boyington Autograph in black Sharpie on the inside page of his book "Tonya" (1960, 315 pp., hard cover, dust jacket, 7th edition). Inscribed "Aug. 1, 1982, To Roger Gainer - With a Chinese Ding Hao - from Pappy Boyington". A fictional story Based on the author's experiences when he flew with the Flying Tigers in China. One of the principle characters is a Marine, who while on leave flies with the "Flying Sharks" a volunteer group of American pilots hired to fight the Japanese by an Asian country. Modest cover faults.
