Russian Icon of the Saint Nicholas Miracle-worker surrounded by scenes of his life. 18c. Silver oklad was made in 19c. There are four marks on each side: Russian silver 84 standard, Maker's mark "TA" by Cyrillic, Assayer mark. "BC 1888" by Cyrillic (Victor Savinkov, 1855-1888, Moscow), and Moscow City Hallmark. Size 13" X 11" or 33cm X 28cm, 4,5" X 3,5" or 11cm X 9cm.
