Condition/Details: Bound in three-quarter leather with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is collection of six years of the Calender for German Youth series edited by painter and illustrator H. Burkner, with contributions by popular children's writer Robert Reinick. Each month of the year is illustrated with drawings depicting idyllic scenes of childhood, while the stories themselves contain many in-text illustrations. The volume shows light external wear with top two inches of spine have become detached on front side. This book is solidly bound with very bright pages. The book measures approximately 6.25" x 9" and contains 48 pages per year. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
