Condition/Details: Bound in gray cloth with dark lettering and illustrations, this antique book is a scarce first edition of this well-known children's series. The work is illustrated with many color drawings. The volume shows wear and soiling, and is solidly bound with clean pages showing only a few pencil markings. Pages 5-12 have tearing from the bottom to the middle of the page, pages 1-4 and 13-14 have been torn out. There are occasionally minor tears to the bottom of the pages up to page 78. The book measures approximately 5.75" x 7.75" and contains 118 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
