Notes: Bound in blindstamped brown cloth with bright gilt embossing on spine, this antique set is a scarce historical work in thirteen volumes that is missing volume 8. This handsome work is illustrated with frontispiece images depicting scenes of historical importance. The volumes show mild external wear, and are solidly bound with clean, lightly age toned pages.
