Condition/Details: Bound in half-cloth with gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce collection of lectures delivered by the author "for the benefit of the busy manufacturers, merchants and investors who wish brief concrete statements of our economic troubles with suggestions for possible solution." The book bears the following inscription on the front fly-leaf: " With appreciation of Roger W. Babson / A reference to this book as opportunity offers would be appreciated." The work contains a fold-out graph entitled "Babson's Composite Plot of the Summary Barometer Figures for American Business Conditions". The volume shows light external wear, and is solidly bound with clean and very bright pages. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 7.75" and contains 120 pages plus titles from publisher's catalog.
