A Meccano display model of a Cliff Lift Railway, electrically powered (still working), when operating the model pulls up a railway carriage which is compensated by a second carriage heading in the opposite direction. The model is basically made from red and green Meccano strips, there has been some over painting for display purposes. Also to include a boxed Meccano outfit comprising yellow and silver components together with tin plate wheels, a steam driven hammer, gears, chain and other accessories complete with a Meccano No.1 leaflet and other literature.
