A professionally built model of the Naval Cutter 'The Alert', circa 1777, this model built to museum standards by Alan Berry-Robinson of East Sussex in 1997, the model a completely scratch built scale model to 1/36th scale and enclosed in a custom built glass case, the overall dimensions of the model are 90cm long, 36cm wide, 40cm high the model comes with a complete photographic history of the model's construction, running to 78 colour photographs contained in an album, the model also comes with a book from the series 'Anatomy of the Ship' dedicated to The Alert and written by Peter Goodwin
