Burkina Faso, Lobi. A standing female figure with free arms, narrow media crest, eyes below arched brows, one simply sacrification mark on the back. The hole figure has a powerful habit. Back of the right foot missing, tiny cracks, shiny encrusted patina with traces of use - remnants of little feathers on head and shoulders. H. ca. 85 cm. Provenance: Acquired 1978 from Stella Pitt-Rivers, London.
