Early Philadelphia Deed-1696.

Vellum land document for land at Spruce and Walnut Streets between Robert Skelton and his wife and Philip Richards. Document dated July 24, 1696, measures 15" x 16.5" and is signed at bottom by Skelton and wife with two small attached wax seals. Document is signed on reverse by famous Pennsylvania jurist and Chief-Justice David Lloyd. Document exhibits overall toning and folds.
