Pair of 19th century, Continental, gouache paintings, One (1) is of a pair of putti with Two (2) gryphons pulling a chariot with burgundy background and the other of a chariot pulled by a single gryphon, driven by a moth on black background. Both with an impressed emblem below the image, possibly the signature. 11.25" h x 13.25" w.
Condition: Painting on burgundy is good, the velvet mat is degrading, frame needs polishing. Painting on black has crease across top from left to middle, approximately 5" long, velvet mat is degrading, frame needs polishing.
