Wojciech (Aldabert) Ritter von Kossak (Polish, 1856 - 1943), Soldier's Salute, oil on board, 1930, signed "Wojciech Kossak 1930" in lower left. Framed dimensions 25" h x 21" w (behind glass). After service in the Krakaw Regiment of Calvary (1876), Kossak became interested in painting images of military scenes and horses.
Condition: Painting in very good condition. Frame damaged along right and left sides - losses to gilding and gesso.
