Michal Gorstkin-Wywiorski (Polish, 1861 - 1926), Bell Ringer, signed "M.G. Wywiorski 1915" in lower left corner. 38.5" h x 42.25" w, framed. Scene includes a clergyman ringing Two (2) bells while the townfolk make their way to church.
Condition: Generally good. One vertical and One (1) horizontal crease in canvas from back stretcher. Painting is dirty and a bit loose on stretcher. Frame is missing lower left corner element (in bag attached to back), several minor losses of gilding and gesso.
