Japanese Carved Ivory, Geisha's, Two. 19th c.

Japanese carved ivory Geisha's, One (1) 3 3/4", holding an extended fan. wearing kimonoe etched and inked. Second Geisha, 2", holding lotus blossom dressed in traditional kimono, etched and inked in brown.
Condition: First Geisha has some age cracks, head has been poorly glued to body. some chipping to bottom of kimono, and tip of fan. Also missing something from left hand. Second, smaller, Geisha has extensive chip at base of kimono in back hem.
