Japanese; Ivory and Wood Carved Figure or a Man on

Carved figure of an elderly man on horse back. Man's head, hands and small pagoda shrine he is carrying are ivory as well as inlaid peices in robe and eyes of hores. Inked ivory in tones of rusts, gold, greens, burgandy's and black. wood is elaborately inked with gold designs. Wood base is continued part of sculpture. Inlaid signature on bottom of base.
Condition: 1/2" crack in tail of horse, crack all the way through head behind ears. Wear to gold on hat, some minor age cracks in wood.
