Thomas Penn Signed Lt. Gov of Delaware Ap

Vellum document appointing Patrick Gordon(1644-1736) as Lieutenant Governor of Newcastle, Kent and Sussex counties on the Delaware. Sheet measures 20.5" x 26" and exhibits some overall toning, folds (with several small holes). Document is signed by Thomas Penn at right with wax seal to right of signature (some chipping to seal). Exact document date not filled in, but year 1733 is. Gordon also served as governor of Pennsylvania.
