Eric Waters Gibberd (American, 1897 - 1972)

Oil on masonite. 1968. Signed "Gibberd," lower left. Signed, titled and dated in pen, verso. 48 x 36 in. (1219 x 914 mm). A New Mexican artist, Gibberd studied with many artists, including Emil Bisttram. He has an extensive exhibition history and his work is held in the collections of numerous museums.
