Our copy has the inverted "S" on the last line of the Contents page; pale blue endpapers; and page 30 numbered correctly, all thought to be early issue points. Date Published: 1866 Condition reportSome light spotting and soiling to cloth, front joint with a bit of deterioration to cloth at head, rear joint split approximately 2" at head, spine ends fraying, corners rubbed, front hinge cracked; signature 'P' slightly pulled with resulting cracking in gutter between pages 104/105; still very good and better than typically encountered.
