Sculptural incised demilune shaped ceramic bookends topped with thick blue translucent crackle glaze. Embossed DESIGN TECHNICS on the back of each piece. Each piece measures 4" t x 3" w x 6" d. Alfred University graduates, Lee and Samuel Rosen, founded a design studio in Stroudsburgh PA called Design Tehnics. They employed many talented Alfred University graduates such as Karen Karnes, Gyorgy Kepes, Vivika Heino and Nancy Wickham, later a Vermont studio potter
