A LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED AND BRASS INLAID EBONY MEUBLE Á HAUTEUR D' APPUI, circa 1880, the shaped rectangular black marble top within a conforming molded bronze frame above a rectangular inlaid brass line panel centering a boulle style foliate inlaid lozenge with stylized scrolls and engraved details, flanked by similar square boulle inlaid panels above putti holding aloft shells over boulle style panels ending in dolphin mounts, centering a hinged door with line border forming interlocking corners and mounted with corner stars, opening to a mahogany two shelf interior, above a shaped skirt rail, with scrolling oak leaf and acorn branches flanking a stylized urn. Height: 42 5/8", width: 29 3/8", depth: 17".
