c. 8th to 10th century A.D., Islamic "Pitcher" from Persia or Egypt, Very Fine.
4.5" high. Pastiche vessel consisting of the upper half a colorful pitcher in blue. The bottom has been "restored" with the base of a green vessel that features swirls of vivid, metallic iridescence in violets, blues, coppers, and bronze. A different, eye catching decorator piece.
