Elvis Presley – 68 Comeback Special Signed Conductor's Sheet Music After years in the Hollywood Wilderness, Elvis Presley returned to the stage for the first time in nearly ten years, in the most dynamic comeback any musician has ever made. Recorded between June 27-June 30th 1968. the 68 Comeback Special presented Elvis at his best physically and vocally. When broadcast on December 3rd 1968 it took 42% of the national viewing audience, the network's biggest ratings victory that year. This is the score for Blue Suede Shoes, handwritten by the conductor and arranger of the Comeback Special, possibly William Goldenburg. Professionally framed and glazed, it displays the first three of eight folded pages of the score. The front page of the score is signed by Elvis, Joe Esposito, (credited as a production assistant on the original 68 notes); D J Fontana (Elvis' original drummer) and Charlie Hodge. Included is a certificate confirming the authenticity from Thomas Kreason of Sun Studios. Estimate GBP7500-10000 USD15000-20000
