Beatles Original Tom Mix standee from the cover of 'Sgt Pepper' - The standee of Tom Mix had the privileged position of standing between the real John Lennon and the wax work of Paul McCartney. It is one of the clearest figures on the front cover of the Sgt Pepper album cover designed by world renowned pop artist Peter Blake. Beatles Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Album was released on June 1st 1967 and to this day remains the most iconic album cover design of all time. It was the Beatles eighth album release and was ranked the greatest album of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2003. Tom Mix (1880-1940) was an early American film actor and starred in many silent movies primarily in Westerns.
