Beatles Sgt. Pepper Alternate Artwork A rare alternative photograph of the Peter Blake Sgt. Pepper set photographed by Michael Cooper on original capitol towers art-board with an acetate overlay and production number 2653. This alternative design was intended to be used for the cover of all mediums of the Album but was discarded after some of the famous people used in the photograph asked for payment for use of their image. Those images were subsequently removed and an alternate photograph replaced this one and became the 'Pepper' cover that is so well known. With an original Capitol records Sgt. Pepper LP and a copy of the reel-to-reel of the album. Estimate GBP350-400 USD700-800
