The Beatles Poster for Candlestick park. An extremely rare artefact. 1966 Banner Style poster. 430x280mm Extremely rare promotional banner manufactured by Capitol Records exclusively to promote the Beatles final performance on the 29th August 1966. A number of these banners were used around Candlestick Park stadium and very few are still in existence, this particular banner has been paper tested and it confirmed that the slight staining to the centre ofcomprises tar residue from a telegraph pole. The banner was originally stapled to a telegraph pole in the candlestick area. Although not as beautiful as a colour poster advertising all of the artists on the show, this poster is undoubtedly desirable. With a letter confirming its authenticity.
