27" E 12 D DEPOSE. Etienne Denamur, Paris, France. Very large blue paper weight eyes, open mouth, pierced ears. Long curly brown HH wig appears original. There is a cork pate and head has been stuffed with French newspapers dated VENDREDI 14 SEPTEMBRE 1923. Papier mache and wood jointed body. Doll is dressed in a vintage green/red fine stripe dress with separate burgundy velvet collar and belt. Lace trim on collar, belt, cuffs and hem. Cotton petticoat, teddy and pantaloons. Black leather shoes are marked 12 AU BEBEBON MARCHE LEQUESNE 63 RUE DESEVRES. Condition: no flaws observed in bisque. Body has been repainted. Paint missing from right hand. Age deterioration on shoes and dress. Clothing has a musty odor. Shipping: $53 plus insurance.
