28" DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte.S.G.D.G.13. Back of head has the red stamp markings. Beautiful large set blue paper weight eyes, closed mouth with line running between lips. Applied ears are pierced, brown HH wig, cork pate. Papier mache jointed body is marked with oval paper label BEBE JUMEAU Diplome d'Honneur. Jointed wrists. Doll is dressed in antique red silk period dress with boned bodice, lace trim on shoulders/wrists. Newer underwear. 1 child's tan leather shoe, tan socks. Condition: several wig pulls, rub on right cheek, no other flaws observed in bisque. Arms and hands have been repainted. Dress skirt has been relined but the dress still has major age deterioration and a musty odor. Shipping: $53 plus insurance.
