'The Holy Bible', published by Eyre and Spottiswoode for the Naval and Military Bible Society, 1841, in original embossed leather boards, 8vo Bears label 'This book is supplied gratuitously by the Society for the general use of the men on board of the Endeavour'. It is unclear to which Endeavour this refers. The eigth Endeavour was sold for scrap in 1782 and the ninth and final Endeavour was a survey ship launched in 1912.
