an Excellent Stirrup Vessel from Peru circa 300-500AD 5 1/4" diameter and decorated of two renditions of the "Horrible Bird". In this early depiction of this early motif the artist has created the body and wings from trophyheads, with an additional head being grasped in the beak. Excellent condition with good mineral deposits.
