COPPER TEA KETTLE.
Stamped "W. Heyser, Chambersburg" (Pennsylvania, early 19th century). Dovetailed construction with a labeled swing handle and a brass finial. 6 1/2"h. plus handle. See American Copper & Brass by Henry Kaufman, pg. 125. William Heyser's son, Jacob, is listed as working Ca.1821. Condition reportCondition: As cataloged, in good condition. Some minor rusting around where handle attatches to pot and around where spout connects as well as under the lid. Some minor denting throughout but nothing really larger than the size of a pen head.
