BIRDCAGE.
Late 19th-early 20th century, tin. Fanciful octagonal cage with bird finials. Enclosed in a glass globe (not pictured). Worn original paint. 19"h. 15"d.

There is paint loss; paint to the crown top may be a later paint. The bird finials or detail on the upper level of the cage show two that are of a very detailed casting and 6 that are not and make be replaced. The birds on the lower level are relatively consistent, although one is fully missing and two are missing their heads. Top of the cage is pushed in a bit.
