SET OF SIX FANCY CHAIRS.
Probably Massachusetts, Ca.1815-1835, pine and mixed wood. Retains original painted decoration consisting of yellow ground with freehand stripes and stenciled gilt grapes on the crests. Seats have sienna feather graining. Minor loss. 17"h. seats, 33 1/2"h. overall.

Condition: Retains @ 90% of paint, some seats have more wear then others. One has loose stile and the crest has pulled out on one side. Other very minor loss.
