DECORATED WINDSOR ARMCHAIR ROCKER.
New York, 2nd quarter-19th century, in mixed woods. Stencilled "By. P.P. Billinss NY" on back of crest rail. Original black on red graining, with eagle on comb crest, fruit on lower crest. Seat made in imitation of a rush seat. Minor repair. 15"h.seat 44"h. overall. Ex Jean and Howard Lipman.

Condition: Repair where rear seat rail and stiles meet. Arm supports have been recently screwed to seat rail.
