American, late 18th century, figured maple and pine. Dovetailed case, fitted interior, old, if not original, brasses, thumbnail molding on drawer edges. Dry surface with good color. Some replacements and repairs. 43 1/2"h. 40"w. 19 1/2"d. 33"h. writing surface. Sold at Garth's, November 6, 1998, lot 96.

Condition: Some of the interior drawers have been rebuilt. Others have new facings. Missing slide knobs. One foot replaced, two with lower 2" ended, one largely original, some new blocks
