FARM LANDSCAPE WITH FIGURES (AMERICAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY).
Oil on canvas, unsigned. Fine view of a farmhouse and outbuildings with five figures and a dog. Surface build up. 12"h. 18 1/8"w., in its original gesso and gilt frame (losses), 15 3/4"h. 21 3/4"w.

Condition: The way the canvas is attached to the stretcher (with extra tabs at each corner) is apparently called a "Boston wrap".
