BLIND-DOOR CORNER CUPBOARD.
Southern Indiana, mid 19th century, walnut and poplar. One-piece with paneled doors, a finely shaped skirt, and stepped cornice. Older refinish, minor repairs. 70"h. 54"w. 22 3/4"d., requires a 33 1/2"corner.

According to tradition, this cupboard was made by Robert Stephenson (1821-1879), a farmer and carpenter in Vincennes, Knox County.

Condition: Puttied repair on the skirt, a couple of old, tin patches on the top/back, age split to one panel.
