HIGH-BACK WINDSOR-STYLE ARMCHAIR.
Douglas R. Dimes, New Hampshire, late 20th century, mixed woods with aged black/green paint. New England style with carved ears and knuckles and bold turnings. Stamped under seat. 17 1/2" seat, 43 1/2"h.

Dimes has been handcrafting Windsor chairs since the 1960s and has provided pieces for The Smithsonian, Old Sturbridge Village, and Colonial Williamsburg.
