BEADED PICTURE.
American or English, early 19th century, glass beads on net. Tiny beads compose a romantic scene of a sailboat on river with a colorful blue roofed building on the bank. No apparent loss. In old, if not original, black and gilt frame. 7 1/4"h. 11 1/4"w.

The technique and subject are similar to those found on beaded purses of the same time period.
