Pencil on paper, titled lower right. A serene landscape in likely what is now Old Washington, Guernsey County, along the National Road (Route 40). 5 7/8"h. 8 7/8"w. Removed from a sketchbook from 1857-1858, a copy of the cover of this sketchbook is included.
